The Western Magic Basketball Club is thrilled to announce we have established a partnership with The Wings Basketball Academy! Over the last few months, representatives from both groups have been working through what a potential partnership would look like, and the benefits it would bring to both member groups.
The Wings Basketball Academy mission aligns with that of The Western Magic Basketball Club, to provide a supportive environment for children to grow and excel in the sport of Basketball. Empowering children and providing them with the tools they need to excel in a sport they love has always been at the forefront of our priorities. Now, with the collaboration of The Wings Basketball Academy, we can provide children with more opportunities and advanced skillsets, to set our members up for the highest success we can.
The partnership will provide a consistent style of basketball and training plans to deliver the best coaching and training possible, as well as provide a strong foundation and greater opportunities for members of both parties. It provides access to high level of coaching, additional trainings, games and clinics. Here, both parties will align training plans and procedures to provide a consistent style of basketball.
What changes? The only change to our existing program will be the option for our members to participate in additional training, games and clinics as mentioned above. Western Magic will still be the representative club in the District Basketball Competition, playing under the same banner.
The Western Magic Basketball club is extremely excited and passionate about this partnership and the opportunity it brings to our members. We can’t wait to watch our young athletes thrive and grow, now with the help of The Wings Basketball Academy, and explore the endless possibilities that will set our players up for success. We look forward to continuing to grow and take you all on this exciting journey with the Wings Basketball Academy by our side working to provide more opportunities, for you!
