Welcome to the Western Magic Basketball Club (WMBC).

Western Magic competes in the Basketball SA (BSA) district competition. WMBC provides basketball opportunities for males and females of all ages to play in South Australia’s representative Junior, Youth and Senior basketball competitions.

Our Program provides players of all ages with a fun, affordable place to learn how to play basketball while supporting them in reaching their playing potential.

We hope that WMBC’s players, parents, and friends have a meaningful and rewarding time at the Club, both on and off the court.

A dedicated team of volunteers runs Western Magic focused on providing the advantages and opportunities that Magic has offered them or their children to future generations of players. We fully acknowledge that playing any sport at the club level can financially burden families with multiple family members possibly engaged in more than one sporting or other activity. To that end, we work hard to make involvement as affordable as possible.

Fees are for a full year;

  • $450 – Under 10’s – Plus BSA Registration fee
  • $770 – Under 12’s -U18’s – Plus BSA Registration fee
  • $450 – Under 21’s – Seniors – Plus BSA Registration fee

Club fees cover player training sessions (typically two sessions per week) and other expenses associated with running the club.

Payment plans are available to spread the fees out over an extended period should this be easier to manage. EFTPOS facilities are available for your convenience.

Western Magic has a strict “no pay—no play” policy beyond a cut-off date each season to ensure that we can keep our fees as low as possible, with every player meeting their fair share of the expenses.
